There can be a smoothness to 'professional' English that just lets the words float through, and very little remains behind afterwards, whereas a more turbulent, logjamming and whirley-pooly 'authentic' essay may leave more brain-burrs due to the unfamiliarity of words and sentence structures used.
It's nice to appreciate the person who spent that time to do this off their own bat, still.
Yes, I noted many errors in your writings, and I think that it is better to correct them. I don't mind it too much; I probably make some mistakes myself. English is quite an accessible language, but even for native speakers, it's a beast when it comes to dealing with its many subtleties. I personally would rather read meaningful literature—fiction or nonfiction—written by indies (I am one myself) who were not edited than the huge amount of fluff or distractive material proposed by the big publishers and media in general—edited perfectly and pumped up by their promotions.
Adam Flint, author of "Mona," a prospective-fiction novel copyrighted in 2021, quite reminiscent, though in the flesh, of your non-fiction essays.
Hey B, love your work. I recently started blogging about collapse myself, and your blog is one of the ones I Recommend. I use Grammarly to help catch errors, maybe check it out. Cheers.
